Let's help Mary this holiday season.
At this time of the year, we at AquaTerre Spa look
forward to helping a very special family within our Aviawest
family who greatly needs our assistance.
Tanya, one of our staff who works at AquaTerre, is mother to little Mary. Diagnosed with
Leukemia at age 1, beautiful baby Mary and her family are in for
the fight of their lives.
While undergoing intense treatments at BC Children's Hospital,
Mary's parents not only have to deal with the stress and
heartache of having a sick child, but also with the financial
turmoil that comes with this horrible illness.
Mary has been a very brave little girl over the last six months;
however, her body just doesn't want to cooperate. Mary is
suffering from a constant respiratory infection causing her to be
in isolation most of the time and forbidding her from ever
leaving her tiny hospital room even to roam the hospital halls.
Mary is facing her latest battle with a mysterious bacterial
infection in her stomach that is causing her much pain. She is
just a baby and wants to play with dolls, sing, laugh and run.
Mary hasn't been able to do any of these things for months now,
as she is hooked up to feeding tubes and intravenous medication
24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The Owner Liaison Team has designed and decorated a Christmas
tree at Parkside Victoria Resort & Spa where we are hoping to
generate the much needed generosity that will make a difference
for this family.
If you are visiting Parkside Victoria Resort & Spa this holiday
season, we kindly ask that you visit the front desk and donate
whatever is within your means - in funds or in food - and put a
decoration on our tree for Mary.
