Managing Your Holiday 'To Do'
Today, families of all sizes from coast to coast are busier than ever during North America's longest holiday season. This time of year can mean more fun and extended time with loved ones, but schedules can also be hard to manage. So we're bringing you a few tips on staying ahead of the stress.
Make a list and check it twice
Decide who you're going to buy for before you hit the mall. Jot down as many gift ideas as you can and be sure to take it with you. Having a list to work from will help keep you on track - ideally spending less time and money in over-crowded malls.
Set aside some quiet time
Many of us have the pleasure of hosting and attending holiday parties for both coworkers and friends. Between work days, shopping trips, school plays, and home decorating, it can start to feel overwhelming. A quiet afternoon might mean saying 'no' to someone, but down time is important too.
Cut yourself some slack
Slowing down often means identifying priorities. Like a present to yourself, make a note of regular commitments you're willing to temporarily forego (maybe a round of chores or a trip to the gym). When you plan for seasonal events, note which are most important and which can be skipped in a crunch.
These simple points may seem obvious, but they're easy to forget when the urge to plan the perfect holiday hits.
Holiday Treats at the Spa
Whether you're decompressing from seasonal stress, shopping for someone special, or treating yourself to an early present, AquaTerre has you covered. Here are a few seasonal favourites:
Chocolate Mousse Body Wrap
An invigorating chocolate scrub is applied to buff and polish the skin leaving a healthy glow. Next a warm body mousse is applied and you are cocooned with a warm blanket to maximize the effects of the product. Imagine yourself totally immersed in a fat free chocolate indulgence that produces a slimming effect on the body while revitalizing and nourishing the skin.

Stone Therapy Massage
A luxurious and relaxing massage. With the use of aromatherapy, basalt stones are heated and strategically placed on the body to loosen tight muscles, relieve stress and ease tension. In addition the stones are used to massage the entire body and heighten the state of wellness and deeper relaxation.

Harvest Spice
Let the wonderful fall scents of cinnamon, orange and pumpkin surround you with our popular Harvest Spice treatment. Start with an invigorating sea salt body polish, followed by a relaxing body massage. Continue this autumn experience with an aromatic pedicure while sipping on a glass of our house wine.
