How is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) different?
A Registered Massage Therapist - or RMT - is a health care professional with a high level of skill and training.
RMTs are not only a trained, but certified and regulated - since 1946 in BC. To achieve RMT certification in BC, students must complete at least 3,000 hours of training over three years at an accredited college.
At AquaTerre, RMTs are employed to offer massage services that focus on therapeutic benefits. Although many massage therapy recipients find the relaxation element enhances the effectiveness of their treatment.

Therapeutic Properties of Jade
Naturally cool to the touch, jade is technically referred to as jadeite or nephrite.
This semi-precious stone is popular for carvings and jewellery. While many alternative healing practitioners use jade to enhance practically, wisdom and a sense of peace.
As a massage tool, jade is used to remove accumulated toxins, in many cases produced by stress, diet and lifestyle.
While many stone treatments incorporate heated basalt stones, massage with jade utilizes both hot and cool stones.
Often incorporating a selection of stone sizes and different roller tools, jade massage varies temperature and energy for maximum benefit. The jade stones are also reported to enhance relaxation and well-being.
Jade Stone Massage
At AquaTerre, our own Jade Stone Massage uses alternating temperatures of energetic jade stones to aid in removing toxins and reduce inflammation.
